AI automation for SMEs.
AI automation for Singapore businesses: hand the repetitive work to software, with AI where it pulls its weight and a person where it doesn’t. Not sure AI fits yet? Start with AI consulting.
What it is
With automation, a document arrives and the right things happen without anyone retyping it. Most of it needs no AI at all, just a clear rule and a connection between two systems.
AI is useful where the input is messy: reading a supplier invoice that looks different every month, sorting customer messages by what they actually want, drafting a reply for a person to approve. We use it there, keep a person on the exceptions, and leave the rest to ordinary, predictable code.
We won’t sell you a chatbot for the sake of having one. If a rule and a spreadsheet will do, that’s the answer.
What we can build
- Invoices that file themselves. Supplier invoices read, matched to orders, and posted to your accounting software, with the odd ones flagged for a person.
- Orders collected from chat and email. WhatsApp messages, emails and web forms turned into one order queue.
- Document sorting. Delivery orders, receipts and forms recognised, named and filed where they belong.
- Draft replies for staff to approve. Common questions answered in your tone, sent only when a person says so.
- Reminders and follow-ups. Overdue invoices, upcoming appointments and expiring contracts chased automatically.
- Reports and alerts. The numbers you care about, in your inbox or chat, on a schedule or when something changes.
How we work
Tell us what you need
A few lines on WhatsApp or email is plenty. A photo of the spreadsheet or the whiteboard helps.
Get a plan and a quote
We write down what we’d build and what it will cost before any work starts.
Try it as we go
You use working versions along the way, so changes happen early, while they’re easy.
Go live
It runs on your own accounts and the code is yours. We stay around for fixes and whatever comes next.
What affects cost and timeline
- How messy the input is. A fixed form is a rule; a different layout every time needs AI and a review step.
- What it connects to. Accounting, email, WhatsApp and your own systems each need a connection and testing.
- What happens when it’s unsure. A good exception path (who sees it, how they fix it) is most of the design work.
- Volume. Dozens a day and thousands a day are different builds, and AI usage has a running cost that scales with it.
- Data handling. Where documents are stored and which providers see them matters, and we plan it with you.
Questions people ask
Is AI safe to use with our documents and customer data?
It can be, with care. We choose providers and settings that do not train on your data, keep storage in accounts you control, and keep a person in the loop where a mistake would matter. We will tell you where the risks are.
What if the AI gets it wrong?
It will, sometimes. The system is built so unsure cases go to a person instead of going through on their own, and so you can see what it did and why.
Do we need AI at all?
Often not. A lot of “automation” is a clear rule and a connection between two systems. We only reach for AI where the input is too messy for a rule.
Does automation have a running cost?
Usually a small one: the services it uses, such as an AI provider or a messaging service, bill by usage. We estimate it before you decide and keep it visible afterwards.
